My favourite sequel, it has the perfect combination of romance, action, fantasy and brilliant acting.
?Imperfections are hidden in darkness and people always have imperfections." - that's not reason enough..
I'll tell you the first thing I asked my buddy about this was if it was less convoluted than 'Night Watch'. He said no. So it took me awhile to see it. Decent premise, good characters, good pacing, but you need to suspend belief and clarity to enjoy this. The fighting and bloodshed is minimal and the vampire end of this 'world' is disappointing for those qualities; sacrificed for an attempt at something nee and fresh in the genre.
The second installment of this ambitious climactic trilogy.Gritting and fascinatingly spectacular,it crams all the wrong moves but eventually impresses with the deliberate fuss towards the finale. Not as "awesome: in visual terms as the first part but you gotta give Bekmambetov credit before he visits U.S. for....Wanted bullshit!!!
Better than the original, way better. A fantastic and breathtaking film. It's gripping, pulse-pounding and exhilerating. An edge of your seat ride filled with more compelling suspense and unforgettable action. This new breed of horror film never fails to satisfy or blow your mind. An adreniline-pumping adventure jammed with thrills and chills. It's powerful, exciting and unrelentling. A beautifully crafted movie that will stand as an undenieable cinimatic classic. Stylish, masterful, engrossing, marvelous and sensational. An explosive, very enjoyable and action-packed sequel. A great mixture of astonishing speacial effects, great action sequences and teriffic characters. Director, Timur Bekmambetov continues his vision with outstanding force. It surpasses the heights of fantacy of The Lord Of The Rings and is louder and more visually arresting then 300.
damn it. i have to wait for it to come out in australia when it comes out in october grrrr. i hope we see more of tiger cub and bear.
This was 100 times better than the first one and, since I really liked Night Watch too, that means that this must be fantastic! :o) Even better acting, a better story and lots more of Zhanna Friske in this one. Just don't go to see it if you want to see a horror film. It's a fantasy.
A shambolic mess. There's no strong narrative, barely any action and is so boring I wanted to turn it off. The opening scene is good, but it's all downhill from there.
I loved Night Watch... when is this being released in the rest of the world?
The point is that.. Still, we can not turn back the time, but yes we can write our story again by correcting our actions.. Like an old Russian proverb says: "it’s better later than never"...yes, though we’d need a magic chalk of destiny and i think, yes, we can find it, and firstly inside ourselves..
